Linux LFS101x Preparation

I just received an email form Linux Foundation Training. It is about the Linux LFS101x.

It was a reminder and a guide on how to prepare your computer for the LFS101x class.

Here's the summary:

  • If you are enrolled and want to get the best experience out of this class... you need to - Install Linux on your computer (e.g. Ubuntu).
  • the course will use CentOS(fedora), Ubuntu(debian) and OpenSUSE(suse) as the representative members of their respective families.
  • Download CentOS here
  • Download OpenSUSE here
  • Use this guide on how to Download and Install Ubuntu
